Mahamaya Dham or Temple located cat Bogribari in the district Dhubri, lower Assam, India. It is about 30 km east from Dhubri town and 10 km west of Bilasipara town. It is regarded greatest Shakti Pethas for Hindu. This temple is second to Kamakhya temple of Guwahati to the pilgrims and tourists.
All Hindus of lower Assam worship mother Mohamaya. This temple has a 400-year-old tradition of animal sacrifice especially at the time of Durga Puja. Usually, hundreds of animals or birds like buffaloes, goats, pigeons, and duck are slaughtered. It is always remourd that animals are sacrificed when scale construction especially bridge is undertaken. Another place of worship connects to Mohamaya goddess, which is situated a few km away from the mean Mohamaya Temple.

In the ancient time, the local people believe it is the place when goddess Mohamaya used to bath. Every year several pilgrims all over the Assam come to visit the temple. The natural beauty of the temple is very good.
